I release my pre-album 31st March 2012
I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me - like food or water.

Accept Your Reality
We all have customized realities that we cannot run away from, we certainly have a choice to conceal them while we are around our peers and family members. Some of us create realities as coping mechanisms and lose ourselves eventually then we wonder why we are unhappy. Bear in mind that our realities interact with each other and the people we surround ourselves with either add positively to our realities or take something for their benefit. Our realities should allow us to contribute to our peers positivity through sharing of experiences as we all have stories to tell, this will also allow us to realize that we really aren’t facing life’s challenges alone besides the fact that it is therapeutic. In closing, lets accept the fact that we aren't in total control of our realities, nor should we allow ourselves to feel ashamed of them. Whether you are from a family of alcoholics, racists or atheists, you cannot disregard the impact they have in your life whether you agree with them or not, it is up to you to deal with it and keep things moving, being ignorant about it really isn't a good idea. It is our realities that have made us who we are today; they gave us hope as we've conquered various challenges that we’ve all thought we NEVER can. Adopting fantasies and parading them as if they are legit is only going to put us in harms way. I mean we can achieve things far greater than our selves if we accept our current realities and with that allow ourselves to move towards achieving our dreams and aspirations without unfinished business. With that said, lets stay legit and leave the acting with the actors/actresses.

The Bouyant Kid on Owning your dreams!
We all have our own time. Our dreams and aspirations may take our life times to achieve, and that’s okay. That is better than giving up and giving in to negativity and its screwed up ways. I’ve often wondered how moving it would be if tombstones were engraved with the deceased’s regrets; imagine that for a sec. “I always wanted to __________but never got to it”. We will all join them someday anyway, so why don’t we reduce our regrets by prioritising that which will make our lives worth living. I mean why cheat the opportunity we have by living false lives under pretence for everyone else’s entertainment. I refer to it as entertainment as that’s what shows do. In closing, I can only hope you can hear me, so Listen to yourself say this, as I try and keep trying to achieve my dreams and aspirations, I will remember that todays failure can be tomorrow’s achievement. I acknowledge that can only let that happen if I am on it like you own it in pursuit. See, Owning your dreams and aspirations means you are taking charge, standing by your trials and tribulations and certainly not letting them shift your pursuit.

Buoyant Kid on Patience
Opportunities, we’ve all heard how they may come once in a lifetime and that’s probably true. Lets note that just because it’s an opportunity, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the right one. Too many people lose track of their dreams because they allow the wrong opportunities to steer them of course. Money is usually the cause because we want instant gratification and pursuing our dreams and aspirations isn’t instant at all.
It’s sad that we are allowing such to take place. We need to constantly remind ourselves of our dreams and aspirations, why they mean as much as they do as well as what it would mean for us to achieve them. When it comes to success, it’s easier to want than to get. Patience may be the difference between achieving it or not, so we have to keep motivated at all times. [T]he RIGHT opportunity may come once in a lifetime, its up to you to recognize it. A short cut, is exactly that: short lived and if that’s what you think your dreams/aspirations [are] worth, then by all means go for it. If you aren’t pursuing a short lived experience of the success you can live from achieving your dreams then PUT IN THE EFFORT because that’s the only way.
The road not taken should therefore be the one that undermines your dreams and aspirations, the one that’s had a lot of people live with resentment and bitterness. Do remember that it’s up to you to take charge and be the commando of your dreams and aspirations. Stay focused and patient.

Maintaining Long Term Success
Whenever we think of success, let’s not make the mistake of thinking it’s a final destination. Success requires maintenance and that’s why some people’s experience of it is short lived. We shouldn't lose sight of the drive and determination that gets us there because that will compromise the sacrifices and dedication that got us there in the first place. For now, remember that YOU know YOUR dreams and aspirations better than anyone else. Whatever perks come with achieving them should not stand a chance of making you lose sight of what got you where you are in the first place including money and fame. In closing, success has a beginning and if maintained it can be till death do you apart. Just as it doesn't have an age.

Fitness Fridays
So this Friday was another milestone, I reached day 200 of running every single day. I have put up a picture of my progress to date. Here's the older picture, see how I was much smaller then
---> Old Progress Report <---I have learnt many things on this journey. One very important lesson however is that results don't come overnight. Sometimes you slip up and all yesterday's hard work is wiped away with one unwise decision. The best thing to do is:
- Take control of the situation.
- Make a conscious decision to make up for time lost
- Work Twice as hard as before
- Persist. Persist. Persist.
Set Goals. Achieve Them.

Motivation Monday
So on Friday 27January 2012 I went to see one of my idols Kanye West perform LIVE at the Sydney Entertainment Center. I've been a fan of 'Ye since his debut album the College Drop Out. I was back in South Africa at the time but had always dreamed about one day seeing Kanye. Eight years later I saw him in the flesh and although I strive to always stay motivated, seeing 'YE reignited my passion and made my motivation sky rocket. He might be a nobody to you but he's an extraordinary human being in my eyes.
